Accessibility

The Blackburn Foundation wants everyone to be able to use this site, including people who use screen readers, keyboards or other assistive tools.

Our approach

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. We use clear headings, text alternatives for images, captions where we can, strong contrast and pages that work with a keyboard.

Third-party tools

Some features, such as the Givebutter donation form and embedded videos, come from other providers. We choose tools with accessibility in mind, but we do not control them fully.
